The College of Metanoics
Millions of exorcisms and deliverances are performed every year, and not one has ever been measured.
What it will build
The College will build whole-person interventions, the protocols to deliver them, and the training for those who carry them out.
The Institute will test every one before it is offered to anybody.
Why it is needed
- No training. The seminaries do not teach it, and every priest is asked about it.
- No apprenticeship. The mentorship that carried the competence collapsed seventy years ago and has not been rebuilt.
- No records. Nobody follows anyone up, so nobody knows what the practice does.
- Nowhere to do it. No building, and no route to funding one, because the work is not recognised.
