Its aim: to write that account, and to build the means to detect it.
What this phenomenon is, how it behaves, what it does to a person, and what helps. No one has ever set it down in one place.
We will review everything already known, gather first-person accounts from around the world and turn them into data, and build our own tools where none exist.
The first account of this phenomenon that a scientist, a priest and a sufferer can all read.
We cannot detect this phenomenon. Every other problem it causes follows from that.
Detection is conceivable. The body already detects it.
It will stand apart from the eschatology that motivates the Project, free to publish whatever it finds.
The vision is ours. The findings will be the Institute’s.
