The aims

To undo the great trick.

  1. Metanoia will establish Metanoics as a discipline — the study of parasitic intelligence within consciousness and its bioelectric substrate.

  2. Metanoia will reconcile the scientific and religious accounts of the phenomenon — neither dismissing the testimony of two thousand years of theological tradition, nor surrendering the rigour of empirical investigation.

  3. Metanoia will map the phenomenology of the possession state and establish the pattern of its behaviour.

  4. Metanoia will pursue the anomalous signatures of the possession state as one of the most significant phenomena in human history.

  5. Metanoia will pioneer and fund original research into the phenomenon across neuroscience, bioelectric biology, anthropology, and the philosophy of mind.

  6. Metanoia will assemble the largest corpus of work on possession ever collected, drawn from clinical, indigenous, mystical, and scientific traditions.

  7. Metanoia will build an AI capable of synthesising that corpus and serving as a research instrument for the field — and, in doing so, to confront the alignment problem on terrain where it cannot be ignored.

  8. Metanoia will train and educate practitioners equipped to assist the afflicted, working from a methodology that takes the phenomenon seriously without surrendering to either clinical reduction or religious capture.

  9. Metanoia will assist in the development of gold-standard treatment modalities, replicable across institutional and cultural contexts.

  10. Metanoia will establish residential programs offering long-form care for those navigating active possession states.

  11. Metanoia will end the silence surrounding the phenomenon, and the stigma carried by those who live through it.

  12. Metanoia will return possession to the centre of serious inquiry, where every culture before our own has placed it.

Metanoics

Parasitic Intelligences and the Hidden Architecture of Consciousness

Metanoics launches a new discipline: the rigorous, integrated study of possession phenomena across clinical, phenomenological, neuroscientific, and theological frontiers.

At its heart is a disciplined and unsettling hypothesis: that many of the states long interpreted as possession are exactly what they appear to be — parasitic intelligences operating through a bioelectric substrate, anchored in the enteric nervous system and exploiting unresolved trauma in a shared field of consciousness. The suffering is real. The interpretation is a live, testable claim.

Satan: A Black Paper

A philosophical polemic

It has been called many things by people who needed to keep the question open — an autonomous content, a parasitic intelligence, a pattern that ingresses where the defended self gives way. All true, and all a way of not saying the word. This book says the word.

It begins where I actually stand, and carries the whole cosmology at full strength: that creation required an obstacle, that the same boundary which lets a self exist casts the shadow that preys on it. It makes the claim the modern frame cannot hear without flinching — that we are not a speck in an indifferent vastness but the contested ground itself.
